Abstract:

Iran is one of the most earthquake-prone countriesin the world, and many students and teachers have sufferedphysical and psychological damage related to this naturalphenomenon. The gaps observed in the earthquake preparednesscurriculum indicate the necessity for a change in its curriculum.To reduce these effects and consequences, a new curriculum isneeded. The present study aims to increase understanding ofearthquake preparedness due to observation of unsuccessfulexperiences of previous training in preparedness training. If theearthquake preparedness curriculum changes substantially, theircurrent problems will be lessened. In order to improve the qualityof existing training and to provide flexibility in the field of generalsoftware training, virtual reality games have been developed.Research data were collected using internal and externaldocuments. The approach used in this study was qualitative anddescriptive-analytical.
