Evaluation of relation between natural gas penetration rate and development of countries abstract
Annual production and consumption level of natural gas is growing in Iran. Regarding the growth of energy consumption in development path of different countries this issue is a concerning trend. With regards to high energy consumption per capita in Iran, a comparison between this trend in Iran and other developing countries could be a helpful method for codification of a progress perspective for Iran in the future. In this research, import and export level of natural gas in some developed countries (U.S, Japan and European Union countries) and some developing countries (Brazil, India and Turkey) is studied firstly. The next step is the comparison of different sectors natural gas consumption between Iran and these countries. Finally by using developed and developing countries data, an analysis about the relation between development level of countries and natural gas consumption rate will be conducted
